Base metals prices mixed at week's close |

Base metals prices were mixed this week. Lead added 6.9 percent during the week to trade at $2,540 per tonne on Friday. Prices for lead prices were pushed up by declining inventories. There were also worries about Chinese supplies.
On the other hand, copper prices dropped 1.2 percent to $7,440 per tonne as worries continued that threatened strikes would materialize in Latin America. Nickel prices fell 11.3 percent to $37,600 over the week. back to the News |
